The Professional Festival
Each year, CREATE hosts a conference that asks questions about some of the things we take for granted when working with visual storytelling. It is an opportunity to meet experts from a broad variety of disciplines who are willing to share their considerable expertise to help you learn and give you something to take home and think about.
Art and Research
We think it is important that the conferences are interdisciplinary, so we therefore invite researchers who have considerable theoretical insights as well as professional artists and others with extensive experience from the more practical aspects of the field. Why? Because magic happens when experts from vastly different fields engage us in their way of looking at and understanding the world.
Attend If You Are Curious
Our conferences are for anyone who is curious. Your background or professional history is not important. You could be an artist, librarian, teacher, graphic designer or something altogether different. Everybody is welcome. It is enriching that there is also a mixed professionalism among the audience.
